Voluntary Opportunity
Unremunerated (reasonable expenses paid) / 4 – 6 Board meetings per year (Rochester, Kent)

Pathways to Independence is a registered charity working with complex need adults across Kent and Medway. Currently providing supported accommodation services, we are keen to develop our accommodation services as well as expand the remit of our services and beneficiaries over the next 3-5 years. Key strategic changes have recently been agreed and we are seeking a new Chairperson to lead the charity through the process.

Our Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring good governance, clear direction and maximum achievement of the charity’s objectives.
The successful candidate will be used to operating at a strategic level and have governance experience in a commercial or charity organisation. We would particularly welcome applicants with a professional background in working with vulnerable adults and or housing.

The ideal candidate would have enthusiasm and a passion to drive the charity through a significant period of change whilst maintaining a high standard of delivery supporting our clients.

If this challenge appeals to you and you share our passion for helping people with complex and multiple needs transform their lives, please apply (or ask for further information) by sending a CV and covering letter by email to donna.pearson@pathwaysltd.org.uk.
