…the staff are actually interested in helping and there is no stigma attached…

Case Study: MarkMark came to us for support after a period of time in prison for a sexual offence. He heard about us in prison and asked for a referral, because he wasn’t able to return home and the only other alternative was a hostel. He was interested in coming to us because we offer support as well as more freedom than some other hostels, he felt this was an approach that would work for him.

Mark spent around 9 months with us in supported accommodation, his Key Worker helped him to get his benefits in place and advised him around life outside of prison and moving on. Mark was very keen to find work and he now has a job as a car valeter and has just moved in with his girlfriend.

And Now…

“After being in prison I felt it was so much easier to be your own person at Pathways, the staff are actually interested in helping and there is no stigma attached.”
