A Friday in late September saw Pathways staff team come together for a day of information sharing and planning in preparation for the recommissioning rounds. Staff also took the opportunity to visit the 27 foot high ‘Knife Angel’ created by Alfie Bradley, temporarily positioned in the gardens of Rochester Cathedral. The Angel is a National Monument again violence and aggression and is made from 100,000 knives handed into police forces under weapon amnesties; it is a poignant and moving reminder of the lives lost and ruined by knife crime. If you’d like to know more about the artist, his creation or the project.
